Canninghill Piers River Valley Enhanced Connectivity

The Canning Hill Piers site enjoys a GFA of 100,263 sq m. The proposed development once approved by the respective authorities will see commercial units and serviced residences built on top for Hotel guests along with direct connectivity to Fort Canning MRT via an expansion tunnel linking it directly onto CPVL station in future plans when completed!

 

The redevelopment comes after CDL Hospitality Trusts (CDLHT) sold its majority shareholding last October 2017 followed closely behind by CapitaLand Singapore which purchased 50%. Ascott Reit has also recently divested some assets including Somerset Liang Court located next door which was disposed of into ownership.

The three leading developers in Singapore are revamping the river promenade to add new life. The plans agree with URA’s 2019 Master Plan of increasing vibrancy and adding more amenities for residents there, as Canninghill Piers has easy access by land or waterway from both CBD areas nearby it. Demand is expected to be high because this site offers a great strategic location right off Orchard Road where many shops can be found along its shoreline too!

There will also eventually become four residential towers housing over 10 000 apartments each; all 3Developers combined own two-thirds (66%) while renting another 30%. This makes sure they retain enough commercial space – including office.
